Barrel Break In

Clean the bore and barrel of any pre-shipping oil and shoot the barrel in as it will eventually come around. It will reach a point where the throat and muzzle will begin to deteriorate and begin to lose accuracy. If you like to shoot one cartridge, clean and repeat the process go ahead.

What ever floats your boat. I have seen guys clean firearms as if they are cleaning a cannon.

On a serious note, I have found the best cleaning combo that will actually get everything out of your bore. I get some old guns that have been shot alot but rarely cleaned. What you get is layer upon layer of copper and carbon fouling that is a ##### to get out....not any more.
Start with wipeout, let it sit over night, it will remove the first layer of copper.
Gunzilla for carbon/powder removal next, about 4-5 strokes with a brush will take out the next layer of that crap.
Then repeat but just an hour will do for future wipeout copper removal.
Haven't found anything that works that good, both are non-toxic as well and no ammonia.

Complete rifle break in is most important. Kick wife out of bed, take new rifle to bed with you,be gentle(she is a virgin)for the first time, repeat for a good while and then "BAM",she becomes a M.O.A floozy:dancingbanana:
