Barrel bushing for GSG 1911

well the barrel bushing on my gsg 1911 broke, and i'm in need of a replacement, anyone have an idea where i could go to find someone who sells these?

Will regular 1911 barrel bushings fit?
 
Same thing happened to me. I have two GSG's so I bought new bushings from marstar for a think $8 a piece (yes regular colt bushings will work). Not sure if they are colt, norinco, or who made them but they are good quality steel not like the pot metal GSG bushings. I havent broken another bushing since.

I'd be surprised if they did not send you a free replacement.
 
I have one of the first series GSG 1911 .22 lr's. Before there were any issues with the bushing I switched it out for a steel, blued Colt bushing. The original GSG bushing is now in the parts bag with the spare sites, etc.

Personally, I'd contact Blue Line about a replacement. I don't think there are any issues with the following series bushings on the GSG pistols.

Do you have a steel barrel bushing? 1st gen GSG 1911s are known to be a problem. In fact, GSG through Blueline in Canada, replaced all 1st gen barrel bushings with steel barrel bushing. I have not heard of a steel barrel bushing to be a problem. If your pistol is within warranty period, email Blueline with your problem together with a copy of your invoice. They will put you back into action as soon as possible.

Yeah, my bushing was the pot-metal one. Gun is out of warranty. I have no problems buying one though, I will give blueline a shout. :)

I'm very impressed with Blue Line, they got the updated parts on the way no questions asked and were extremely nice to deal with.

They may have just got a new customer :)
