Does anyone have a source for barrel bushings for the M14 here in Canada?
I ordered a barrel vise from Brownells, the package that comes with the #12 and #13 bushings, advertised as for the M1 Garand and M14/M1A rifle...don't make the same mistake I did.
It comes with one of each bushing. I don't know which number is which but lets just say a large bushing and a small one.
That's fine, for an M1 Garand. But ANY M14 barrel will require two large bushings.
If you buy the bushing set separately from the vise, its a set of three...You guessed it, two large ones and a small
I can't get one bushing separately from the set, and I don't feel like dropping the better part of a hundred bucks on a set of three to have two redundant bushings I already own.
