Hey all, I have a Kel Tec SU16 and I'm loving it, but I wondering about the barrel. If I was to shoot a mountain of ammo though it, is it possible to change the barrel out, or do I have to scrap the whole thing and buy a new one? Also, anyone know anything about new triggers for it, or aftermarket parts? Any info or opinions are welcome.

I think the barrels are pressed on, which makes them harder to change.
I recall a thread on here, about 4 years ago ,where it was done.

Iron eagle tactical sells Red Lion accessories, for the SU 16, they’ll also ship most of the items to Canada.

You may also want to look at the Keltec forum, in the US. Lots of info there.

By the time you manage to shoot out the barrel the rest of your SU16 will probably be worn out as well, I wouldn't really worry about it until you get to about 15000 rounds.

HA! Accurate I guess since it's almost all made of polymer, but not exactly what an SU16 owner wants to hear. Well, I'm not even close to 15000 rounds. Like maybe 100. I've only just got it sighted in. Thanks for the info.

Mcarbo down in the states makes upgrades trigger packs for them and a few other things as well, and they ship to Canada. I used them to buy all my keltec sub2000 upgrade parts and it was quick and easy. Also if you sign up to the mailing list they have sales for almost every American holiday from 10-30% off. Worth a look
