After shooting 75rds of trap and cleaning the barrel, I noticed some b/u still remaining in the barrel I used to shoot.
The build up appears just after the chamber in the form of a narrow streak about 2" long. I did remove a lot of plastic wad material but this streak was still there after cleaning.
I do not used a bronze brush but a nylon one.
I use KG Industries gun cleaning products.
Any advice from more experienced peolpe appreciated.

i found if theres above normal amounts of crap in my barrel i soak it in hopes bore-gel for a 1/2 hour or so and it comes clean with the brass brush
i didnt have any luck with the heavier solvent based cleaners as they would evaporate quickly but the boregel seems to soften up everything in the barrel

ive found the winchester cheapie aa target loads leave an easier to clean residue than alot of the other brands of shells
after shooting 150 federal i had to soak the barrel a couple times to get it clean

I have a couple of Barreta 686 O/U, they get the same problem from lots of rounds. I solve the problem by using a brass brush, 1 portion of the cleaning rod, and my cordless drill. Just give it a few spins on the problem area and it comes clean in 30 seconds.

I regularly use this method in my rifles as well for cleaning out the chamber. As long as it is a brass brush, it won't harm the gun.

I boresnake mine every time I go out ( every weekend) so I don't have to deal with built up wad plastic and such.
Get some Wipeout, spray and let sit, then patch it out.
Then run some wad cleaner in there and go at it with a torpedo brush.
That is the easiest way i know of getting out big build up after close to 2,000 firings.....

Nylon brushes are worthless for cleaning, IMHO. I use a brass chamber brush along with Ballistol (for cleaning the chamber) or Flitz brand polish (for polishing the chamber if it requires same). For general shotgun bore cleaning I learned a tip years ago that has served me well. I always 'step up' my brass brushes a gauge. Thus I use a 10 ga. brush to clean my 12 ga. and a 16 ga. brush to clean my 20 ga. Try it, you will like it.......
