After getting a few barrels installed over the years. Generally the calibers are always stamped. It bugs me how sometimes they aren't straight, crooked or miss stamped. So I phoned the local trophy shop.

For $15 I thought it looked pretty good.

If anyone is interested. Maybe a old trick I don't know.

Taking more in next days off.

Are you taking the firearm in, or only the barrel? The firearm would require the 'engraver' to be licensed to work on firearms as well as a PAL and anyone else working there to have a PAL if they have access ... (as stupid as it sounds)

They were cool with it. Small run shop. The guy is a gun guy. Was just a barrel. Remage style. Got it close to where I wanted it marked it and took it in.

The shop was small enough that I'm sure I could have stood near by with him while he did it to make sure everyone was safe ... 6' or course...

Very nice, I think this is a very good idea
Maybe a list could be started of people willing to do it
Vancouver area ?
