Barrel Extension

I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty sure swinging a 62" barrel on my 870 at a goose would not be a walk in the park. Would you use it turkey hunting? Or do you think people use one at all?

I believe the Metro barrel was conceived for hunting in places where discharge of firearms is legal but could cause nearby yuppies to call the police. I can think of several farms in the ottawa area that this application is practically made for. The question would be can we have one here, is it a "suppressor/silencer" or just a barrel extension?

With a mag tube the same leangth as a 64" barrel you could get 25 rounds in the tube.

I have a Predator Hunting magazine somewhere with a article on how to do it yourself. It was suppose to let you hunt crows a bit longer before spooking them off. Never bother to build one. If I remember correctly a extended choke was to be wasted in the process and it didn't matter what constriction it was.

Who knows, it could worth a try. I'm certainly curious to know what would it sounds like when use with my .410 adaptor. Just don't see a real use for it...
