I am not to familiar with surplus stuff and would like to know what this barrel is for. I believe it is 30 caliber and 24 inches long. Thanks

7-43 is the stamp on the muzzle end. Thanks everyone for the information.

Most likely came from Numrich Arms; I bought a couple from them about 15 years ago that were identical to these.
