Seeing that all these ar deals are going on. Does anyone know of the ATF allows sbrs to be imported temporarily for purposes of competition? I would love to get a NEA 10.5 inches. But it would suck if I can't bring it to the states for 3 gun.

So far its been a "no" for me when I talk to the ATF.
I'd like to take my 7.5" Vz58 just for the heck of it. But essentially the agent I talked to said that SBRs and any NFA items are not covered by a Form 6 NIA. It might be do-able, but you would need NFA specific paperwork for them.
You might ask this question if the Action Shooting Sports forum too. I think you'll find more border-hoppers in there.
