Barrel life / round count - Swiss Arms N-R and H&K SL8s

Good evening guys

Looking for some high-round count users`s opinion of the Swiss Arms BlackSpecial / Green Classic Non-Restric and H&L SL8`s.

How many rounds can one expect out of the barrel, this of course assuming care and proper maintenance is put toward these fine rifles.

3000...4000....5000...or more.

I believe I read the Swiss barrel was guaranteed for 30,000 rounds...and its useful life extended much beyond the guarantee.

Ben, you will get differing opinions, I have heard from good sources that the San may loose accuracy after 10,000 rounds. I can tell you after testing it took 30,000 rounds to affect accuracy, much of that was run full auto and extreme temperature variations. Fwiw the mags are intended to last as long as the barrel, 30'000 cartridge cycles. Impressive. The hk?... Not my expertise.

The barrel will last longer then most civilians will put through them in their lifetime, providing that the barrel is maintaned properly.

Many targetshooters over here get a new bbl after around 8'000 to 10'000 rds.

I have more then that through mine and it's still good.
