Barrel porting 1911?

Is there anyone in canada that can do this? I searched but didn't find a good answer. If not, can I send it to the U.S.?

Just need ports in the barrel, not the slide. It's an extended bull barrel.

EDM is about the only way to port it without the risk of trashing the rifling. it's been asked before and no one seems to know of any smith in the country who does it.

that pretty much leaves MagnaPort in the US or going with a different solution of threading and adding a comp.

What about just ordering a ported barrel for the 1911? I think I saw some on brownells

It's a sam titan. I just figured that since the barrel is sticking out anyway, I might as well make it semi-useful.
