Well guys, with the coming of spring/ summer and my first gopher already spotted, I mounted a new bushnell 1x32 trophy on the Remmy .22 597 yellowjacket and got it sighted in.
MY 597 loves federal bulk HV, (no jams etc) but I'm not convinced that the 32 (?) grains are the best for accuracy.
This got me thinking....what's the best weight/grains to use in a 1:14 1/2 twist rate?
I know guys are using a 1:16 for 60g (?) aguilas. I've exhausted my google-fu as well as searched here.
Can some of you rimfire gurus pass some knowledge onto a young buck?
