barrel upgrade on a full stock 10/22 International.

I bought the sweetest rifle...10/22 International in full stock, satin stainless steel. I wish the stock was better...simple birch and I haven't seen any options for third party full stock options for the 10/22 in my roving about (perhaps I'm wrong?). anyhow. I intend to turn her into a match grade rifle. while the barrel will probably do, but if I can do better, I will.

if all I can do is the trigger group and such, then that's all I can do.

what brands are there for that stuff?

I have the Timney for my 10/22. It's very nice. Pricey but it transforms the firearm significantly.

I have an International as well but it is in walnut, blued barrel and it features a unique basketweave style checkering.
I put Williams peep sights on it, which I bought from Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. (This is where I got the Timney from as well.)

The phrases "match grade" and "full stock" don't go together...

I have done dozens of builds and my advice to you is to use the FS as a roving sporter/satisfying hunter... and build a true "bench style" gun if you want to go the "match grade" route...

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with doing trigger work or a full TG on your FS... maybe even a properly contoured aftermarket barrel... but that might be step too far for that particular gun... whatever you do, make sure that you can return it to factory original for resale.

Agreed. Its a nice gun as is. Remember youd be dropping $300 on a trigger and $200+ on a barrel.
Now you have a 1k+ rimfire.

if you want a match grade gun then make a match grade gun from the bolts up.
