Barrel weight?

Does anyone have a standard sporter Remington barrel laying around that they can weigh or have weighed? 270, 30-06, 308 etc. Thanks a bunch.

you could try www.riflebarrels.ca (Ian is a member here) if you look at barrel contours I think it posts the weights of various barrels

I just weighed 24" in .222 for you and it was 2.83lbs without sights.
