Barrels?

Looking to barrel 2 actions. Husqvarna 98 "improved mauser" and a pre 64 mod.70. Win. both will be hunting rifles. The husky in 9.3x62 and the Win. in ..270 Win. As far as barrel mfgs. go who has the best "bang" for the "buck"? ( any good Canadian conections?) Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have any photos of the Husqvarna 98 that you could post? I'm interested in why it's called an 'improved Mauser'.

I used a Bevan King barrel on my 9.3X62. The price was right and it shoots great.
