Barren ground caribou

Anyone have suggestions for a guide / outfitter for barren ground caribou??
Lots on the www. but personal references seem to be a little more dependable

I'm sure there is a few in northern Ontario, northern queerbec, NWT and definately some here in Nunavut ... question is, how much are you willing to shell out as the travel alone will cost you a bundle. Good luck on your search.

I lived up north for awhile, NWT, Nunavut and Nunavik. If your interested in going to QC for caribou I would recommend Ungava Adventures out of Kuujjuag. Spent four yrs.there and got to know all the outfitters well. Sammy is a real good guy and will put you into the 'bou. Can't say anything bad about any of the outfitters there just got along with Sammy and Bucky.
Otokiak, spent some time in Rankin myself, still keep intouch with a couple of buddy's there.
