I used the Arma-Coat coating on my S&W Mod 10 with a slab barrel, I machined up a sight rail with a Millet rear adjustable. I am very pleased with the coating. If you are thinking about using this yourself I would highly recommend it. Use the 120 grit alumium oxide, it leaves a nice fine surface for the coating to bond to. Also I would say to use a small gravity feed spray gun. Unless you are doing several guns at once you don't need a lot of product mixed up. That is where the small gravity feed gun comes in handy and you only mix up what you need so the waste is very little. I baked mine in my wifes oven, wasn't that bad, opened the window an inch or two and then there was no smell. You might want to try that when she will be gone for a couple days. I am very pleased with the way it turned out, also the coating covers up blemishes very well. If someone can tell me how to post pictures on here I will post a couple so you can see for yourself.
Thanks
Dave
