Barrett Canada

wolverine supplies seems to be the only one then.
They got the one i was looking for, the 98B and they have the 99
but the components to reload that .416 Barrett are more money then the .50 BMG. I might go for the .338 Lapua Mag.:sniper:

I emailed the RCMP as to why these Barrett rifles are Prohibs and they said they didn't know why either.
This entire list is probably made by one guy who hates guns.

Actually more like bureaucrats blindly following rules that don't make sense. Kind of a pitiful existance when you think about it. Not paid to think for yourself, and not contributing anything in a meaningful way, but the whole time thinking what you're doing is important. Kind of like a dog licking it's ass.

I wonder why Wolverine carries the 98 Bravo but not the MRad?

US Department of State has not authorized it to be exported. That said, the fact that Wolverine has mentioned it on this site may indicate that it could happen.

Barrett is not prohibited by name, just variants of the particular models that were named if that makes any sense.

As far as I understand, US Department of State will not authorize any .50 cal exports. Those things change sometimes.

In any case, kudos to Wolverine for getting Barrett products into Canada. Not on my list because of $$ but great to see. :)
