Barrett M468 6.8 Rem SPC

I haven't seen a lot of 6.8SPC ammo up here.

I've handled one down south. Was not impressed. Clunky ARMS foregrip with non-standard rails and a roll pinned on gas block. It's flashy looking, but just another half-assed poorly thought version of an AR put out by a major manufacturer who is relying on being an industry leader in another area to sell them.

just saw it on TV, future weapons compared the ballistics against the 5.56 M4 and 7.62 AK47 .

i like the idea of a bigger ammo in a M4.

They never mentioned the actual reason for the round on that show, the reason was to have more KE further downrange for use in Afghanistan. I started to get rather irritated with the remedial descriptions of terminal ballistics.

Way overpriced for what it is. I will admit though, that I really like the look of the front sight and muzzle brake.

If you really want a 6.8 then their are much cheaper options, don't know how easy to get up here though.
