I'm thinking of buying a Barska varmint scope for my 22lr.
does anyone out there have any feedback on this scope brand?
thanks Tomas

I have a tactical that I got with a used rifle I bought on the EE. I am not happy with the clarity at all. I have contacted Barska customer service by email twice with no reply. I am interested to see others' opinions. Right now I would stay away.:(

Watch and try before you buy.

I have Barska scope and it's fine. I placed it on my short mag and it's holding the push. My friend uses it on 22 for some reason.

Wow I was just looking at them as well and was thinking about asking the same question.

I am looking at the SWAT Rifle Scope in 6-24x44 for my 22-250 from Optics Planet its about 190 bucks.

I have the 8-32x50 AO Varmint on my Savage 223. Very clear scope up to about 25x. Holds zero and is repeatable. I purchased from White Falls Hunting Supplies (Phil, member/dealer on CGN). I have no complaints other than it's too much magnification for hunting moving targets. It'll hold it's own on a shooting bench though. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

I believe Barska's are made in the old plants that used to make glass pop bottles, same clarity. I used to think mine was fine until I compared it to my NF..... if you are looking for inexpensive (read: not cheap) then get yourself, at the very least, a Bushnell 3200 series scope.

Just to update.Barska did finally get back to me regarding my unclear 6-24X60 IR SWAT scope. I was asked to return scope along with a 15$ US handling fee. Postage for scope was around 18$. Within 2 weeks I received a new scope. So they do stand behind their product.:dancingbanana:

???

I just bought a euro 30mm model for my cz f/s. its an awesome scope, very well made, worth way more than i paid, super duper happy with it, plus if there is ever a problem, they totally stand behind what they sell

A+
