Im thinking about a Barska as well. If I do go Barska Im not sure if I want the SWAT or Tactical (first focal plane).

Range report would be nice whenever you get a chance.

i am eager to get out but i have to find a base for a, omark m-44, and a good set of rings , i paid , $319.50, to my door for it ,

They work great, without a cant, in 7 rem mag around 2800 fps 168gr match got to 650m , then ran out of elevation. Its a bit heavy , but a sold clear unit.

Try those Burris Signature rings with offset inserts if you're having problems with elevation room. I use them on my 10/22 because of the huge bullet drop when shooting at 100m.

And who sells these Barska scopes?
