Bases and rings for Savage 111?

I have a Savage 111 in .30-06 and I'm looking to buy new rings and bases for it. The rifle itself is fine, but I'm finding the rings are coming loose after a few rounds down the tube (which I was expecting based on other peoples reviews of their savage package guns) so I want to upgrade to a new set of rings and bases. What would you recommend?
 
I put a Weaver single piece base onto my 111 and Vortex rings. I had two piece bases on it originally and when the Banner 3-9 was on there was zero room for movement for eye relief.

Was the banner a 40mm?
What size rings you get? Medium?
Do you have any problems with the bolt hitting your scope?
 
Go to the manufacturer's web page, ie, Weaver and they should offer a chart to determine what fits what.
Should list part numbers to rifles make and models.
 
I use Burris Signature rings on the very same rifle and they hang on tight.
you may want to try blue thread-locker on the threads.
