Bass Pro Scopes

OK, I know that I can't import a scope from the US nor can I order one from an American Retailer, but can I order one from Bass Pro online 'cause they presumably ship their Canadian orders from their Canadian Store.

I believe Bass Pro is the same as Cabela's . All their mail order comes out of the U.S.

I am sure a phone call to their order desk would answer your question. It is possible they ship from their Canadian location. Their store in Toronto does have a large selection of scopes.

I had a chat with them and they say that if I order from the website, then they will ship from States. :-(

Interesting.
What brought this up was I just received a 4 piece fly rod in the mail from Bass Pro. I ordered it on line from the US but the package was mailed from Ontario using Canada Post.
Oh well, thought there might be a way around the embargo.
