Baur Arms SKS mag issue

I have the Baur Arms SKS mag and my SKS has a Dragunov stock. I was out today and I loaded it with five each time. After the fourth shot the fifth round would be thrown out, bolt open. Is it dirty? Spring not working right? I just traded for this gun and my old SKS was the standard mag so not too sure on these. Is it much work to install the original mag with this stock? Trigger group out, mag in? Any help is appreciated!!

Should add it was -5c today. Maybe that plays in?
 
Mine do the same thing. I don't use them anymore. Baur says these are Gen1 mags? from what I heard.
I cut a coil or two off the spring to reduce tension, but they seem to still only function properly intermittently.
