bought one of these at wholesale for 24.00, but it dont fit in my sks. do they require shaving some wood off the inside of the stock or are they only made for aftermarket setups?
They can require shaving or the stock and/or sanding of the mags front bill.
I noticed WWS is selling these now. The Wpg location has a tonne of them on display.
I bought 2 from Wolverine months back.
They turned out to be a waste as I used one once after finally getting it fitted, then never used them again. Too obnoxious looking IMHO.
These are not great mags. The plastic feed lips are too flimsy and flex so much that if you bump the mag while it is loaded it will auto unload itself. It did function OK once in the gun tho.
Yeah, can't say the quality is good at all, the feed lips are complete garbage, I have two, one may work, but the second one can't be loaded in the rifle without popping cartridges everywhere due to the crappy lips.
Oh sure. NOW you tell me :-(
I ordered a pair of the 5/30s. I THOUGHT I had checked them out on youtube and stuff and they seemed to work great. Maybe those guys were just seeing the emperor with a full mag?
I think I read/heard that they didn't always like going into a magwell of a Tula's wood stock (may require some filing) but I Bubba-ed mine with a Tapco stock. Don't worry Southern neighbours..I mean neighbors...every mod I've done so far is completely reversible.
