Bausch & Lomb 36x scope reviews

Good morning ..... I recently purchased an older Walther 22lr target rifle that came with a 36x B&L BR scope. Has fine reticle and screw in end caps for protection. Looks like a nice scope but I have never seen one before or even knew about them. At 1st glance I thought it might be a bit much for 50yd shooting but will have to try it.

Anyone have any thoughts or reviews on this scope? What's the value?

I have one on a 222 Rem bench rifle works well as to price ? it came with the gun.

I have one I bought brand new.....back, well, way too long ago. Used it for many years on a varmint 22-250. Haven't used a lot lately.....anyway always worked great, adjustments still precise. Not sure about value.

Perfect for 50m bench.

Shocker alert ...... I don't own even one 760/7600 these days. They were all victims of a post retirement downsizing program.

I bought mine brand new for 750 waaay back.. local lgs was going out of biz and i picked it up cheep. Put it on a rem 700 with 308 shilen hvy barrel.. used it for years when ammo n powder were cheap but now it sits in safe..
i thought it was a good scope … no problems target shooting

I own two of these, paid 350 and 450 each if I remember correctly. Good scopes, very clear. B&L made quality scopes. I've probably owned at least a dozen over the years, never had a bad one. - dan

great quality scopes a few brands from the 70's 80's 90's
fixed powered weaver T series scopes fixed powered leupold mx 6,8 10,12,20, all awesome scopes

Like the clear scope and thin reticle lines. Bought mine used from a shop for 650 like new with the box and caps

B & L made excellent scopes. If you have a use for that power, it's a keeper in my book.

Looks like the turrets are resettable with an allen screw on the top of each. How does that work?

If memory serves, find your zero, loosen the screws and adjust the turrets to zero to match your sight in. My two I'm currently using are older and don't have that feature. - dan
