Bavarian 1869 Werder Rifle.

Always liked Werders. They're a lot simpler internally than I suspected. I figured it would be a million screws and tensioned bits that would fight you every step of the way :p
 
I never knew anything about those and now absolutely NEED one. Disassembly reminds me of my French Ordinance 1873 revolver.

Aways very impressed by both the simplicity and well thought out features in many of the European designs. Much more sophisticated than many of the civil war American single shot rifles of the same era. I.e. the rolling block or Sharps rifle.
