Just a quick, stupid question: has anyone put a different bayonet on their spike chinese sks? I wanna put a better looking one... the bladk and spike sks bayos aren't swapable, are they?

They are swappable, but I belive the spike bayo has a larger stock cutout so the blade bayo won't fit as nicely into the stock groove. Also, be aware that the Yugo bayos are a couple inches longer, so stick with the chinese blade or a russian blade.

DAR 701 is correct, the cutouts on the stock are different for the two bayo types. Depending on which type you have, you may have to modify the cutout, with a router or dremel or something. The lug attachment for either type of bayo is exactly the same, though. Have fun!
