Bayonet for Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun - what kind fits?

Howdy boys,
Does anyone know what kind of bayonet fits a Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun? I recently purchased a Norinco one, and love it! Now I want to try it with the bayonet on, but the Enfield bayonet I tried wouldn't fit. The barrel hoop was a little too low, but the handle clip fit on the bayonet lug on the heat shield real good.

Any ideas?

I believe it is the US Model 1907 bayonet. The Enfield has a Pattern 1907 - not sure if it is the same thing; but it also depends on which model of Enfield bayonet you have as I believe they have a few that work on more than one rifle. As far as I know, the "pig sticker" for the No. 4s will only work on the No. 4s.

The proper bayonet is a US M1917 "Enfield". The Brit P1913 will also fit.

It will look like a British 07 pattern with 2 vertical lines burned into the grip so it can be quickly differentiated from the 07. Many say Remington on them. Saw tons in the markets in Afghanistan.

I thought I might have a been a digit off on that one...my mistake. M1917 is it.
