bayonet lug- can we still get them?

can we still get flash hiders with bayonet lugs across the border?with all these new import bans i 'm confused- what about usgi fiberglas stocks?-if we can't , why don't some of the machinist types amongst us make up one, but fix it so it takes an m7/m9 bayonet instead of the m6
 
I would love to machine up a stock flash hider but the thing that stops me is broaching the keys for indexing purposes. You cannot do this easily on a mill. The other option is not broaching at all but then there is no reliable way to stop it from turning on the barrel. I guess that maybe setting pins to correspond with the indexing slots on the barrel is the way to go. Hmmmm.... gotta think about this more. I was originally thinking of muzzle brakes rather than flash hiders.

I have not heard of any law that says WE in Kanada cannot have them.... the bayonet lugs on the flash suppressors. Am i missing something ?

I've bought flash suppressors from e gun parts in West Hurley, NY for around $ 60 several times back in 2003.

Any ideas ?

iether way, i just want to be able to hang a knife on the end-preferably a m7 or m9 ( the 9 would be really nice as it doubles as a field knife) as the m6's are getting expensive ( my real one cost 75 bucks years ago- the german knockoff was somewhat cheaper)
