So my bayonet fit when i bought my moisin not it won't fit? seems while firing it i gained a very small bulge in the muzzle? i did have my receiver come loose once while firing could this have cause this along with using a hot barrel? seriously perplexing me....

The mosins action screws do come loose every so often on se rifles. Unless combined with some other events I can't see this ring an issue.
Can you physically see a bulge?

I wouldn't fire the rifle any longer if you do see one.

I seriously doubt its bulged. You can measure it with a micrometer if so inclined. Mosin bayonets are not made to fit loosely, they where knocked on and off with a mallet. A little heating or cooling makes all the difference.

it fit tight but easily before now i cant even get it partially on....... i can't see a bulge but i can kinda feel it it was getting really hot when the screws came loose and i fired maybe 20 rounds before i really noticed....

These bayos are famous for not being able to go on 'without a fight'. Doubt you have anything wrong with your Mosin. Most of us just toss it in the 'spare parts bin'. Yes, metals expand and contract as well. This can make the difference.

You need to quit shooting that rifle. It's damaged. What ammo are you using?
The bulged muzzle is why the bayonet stopped fitting. How'd you do that? Shoot it when it was full of mud?

did no one read the part where i said before the receiver came loose while firing my bayonet fit perfectly?

I read that part, and I dismiss it for the reasons that the muzzle and receiver are so far apart. I've looked at a lot of messed up guns for over 40 years, and while I'm not saying anything is impossible, I'm suggesting that its quite unlikely. I'm also very interested in hearing your hypothesis as to how this may take place.

Could have some grease left in the muzzle area, once you fired the rifle a bulged might have developped.
