Bayonet that will fit a short version M305?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but just curious as to whether there are any up to date places you guys have seen any M6 bayos that will fit these Norc M305 versions - specifically the scout versions.
I found an old threat about 3-4 years old and none of the links really work anymore and guys were vague about which ones fit the scouts and how you have to grind 'em down to fit.

Seen any anywhere recently?

I also remember the discussion about it, but never heard of any that fit without fitting/grinding.

And yeah, those are already scarce enough to butcher em...

correct me if I am wrong but if you have a M14 flash hider with the bayonet lug intact on your barrel that's where it would mount regardless of the barrel length and diameter. if no flash hider it wouldn't attach at all anyway.

No, it interferes with the gas system plug. The only way to make it work is to shorten the handle on the bayonet. Why bother.

Or get a shorter gas plug...

OR get crazy and flip your flashhider over and mount it upside down!

Hah! And we're back to square one -
Oh well, guess I'll just have to make do...wish there was somewhere that made crappy chinese knockoffs that I wouldnt feel terrible about butchering - If the Norcs build em with lugs, you think theyd have a bayo produced to go with 'em....

So long as you don't have OCD, you can just put the flash hider on all tilted, it will let the bayo attach to it because it misses the gas plug. Looks stupid, but great for bear defense.

Anyone try it with the socom plug? Still think you’ll come up short. Think it’s the 19.25” barrel needed
