While digging into some of my parts boxes, I found this Bayonet. I believe it is for a K-98 Mauser, and would like a bit more information on it.

It was made by Simson & Co, and has the location, "Suhl". Also, a serial number on the rear side of the handle. However, it does not have any other markings or manufacturer's Code letters, on the Bayonet or the Scabbard. Almost like new condition.

I realize it could have been made before 1935, when the German Code numbers started. It is not an item that I am going to use, and my interest is in the Swedish Mausers, not the German or copies of the K-98. At the Gun Shows, they seem to be selling for $75 for the beat up ones to well over $150 for the better ones. This one seems to be not used, and the pictures really do not do the condition justice.

Any Ideas?
