BBB mag follower in mossy

Anyone ever install one of BBB's creations in a Mossy?

I just tried and found that I could not.

The factory follwer is a cap like device and the spring is
"tapered" at both ends.

If I put the BBB follower in I suspect that I will lose one round in the tube.


Ideas??

Replace the spring with the same length Remington.

surely that is not the solution.


I had thought of cutting off the stem and drilling out the centre.

but that sor of defeats the purpose......
