Yes. The new Colt's and ACP's are the same bore dimension .451". Some of the early 1900's 45 Colts where .454, as were the 45 ACP's I think. Since the 45 Colt's usually shoot a heavier, and therefore, longer bullet, the twist may be a little faster, but that wouldn't hurt anything if it were.
