bbl?

Been curious about this term for a while.

Initially, I saw people using the term "restricted bbl", which kind of made sense for "by barrel length".

After that, I saw that people used it as a generic term for barrel. Can anyone explain the root of this?

i dont know where it came from, but its used the same way when you're talking carburetors on older cars and whatnot *shrug*

the "Barrel" is an imperial unit which is represented by the abreviation bbl
