BBTI now with .22LR

The good folks at Ballistics By The Inch now have info on the .22 LR.

It seems to be a common question by those contemplating a Ruger 10/22 build using a Dlask 12-1/2" (or shorter) barrel. How much velocity am I giving up???

It won't stop all the arguments but it gives us some real numbers to consider.

It would have been nice if they had tested some standard velocity ammo as well as all the high velocity stuff. Otherwise, good info.

My own tests with a 12-1/2" barrel vs factory 18" barrel was enlightening but was to different barrels so not a perfect test.

However the Remington Golden Bullet and Winchester Super X are typical bulk item (I think I have some of each in my "cache" right now) and only lose 80-60 FPS going from a 18 factory barrel to an 8" barrel.

Loved my 12.5" rig but recently sold it, I think I will buy a Dlask 8" barrel just to have on hand for a future build.
