BC, anyone else here get the 7-20zoneA elk draw?

So , a buddy urged me to put in for the dec thru feb antlerless elk draw up in 7-20zone A. A great way to extend our season he says hehehe. So what the heck, I put in. Well I got drawn and buddy can't go LOL.

Not really the time of year to go solo hunting that far from home so wondering if anyone here got the same draw and might be in same boat.
BUT if I can't find some folks to join up with from CGN, it'll be a chilly 10 day solo hunt for elk for me hahaha
 
tempting, I have spent many a christmas and new years eve's in a wall tent dry humping the wood box trying to stay warm..........
 
Had the draw last year. The Elk can be a bit hard to locate, but they are around.

Persistence pays off. Love to Join you, but alas, no tag this year. :(

I've been on this hunt before but for the "any elk" draw. We had 2 tags and 3 of us went. one guy got a 2x2 and my tag went unfilled.
They were hard to locate but we found them eventually. We went in february, was cold -18 but surprisingly not much snow.
I won't be tenting it hehehe , have camper, will travel LOL and I'm thinkin late january into february.
