BC cfo wait times

I know that alberta is stupid fast, and ontario takes a lifetime, but last two times i purchaced a restricted firearm in bc the wait was 4 days and the other was 2 weeks.. Today i checked on a status (its been a week) the lady on the 731-4000 number said bc wait times are averaging 6 weeks.. Dear lord! Whats happended in the last 6 months?? Anyone else in bc waiting that long recently?

Same situation, 3 weeks.

Of the last three I did all were private deals, The first two took 5 weeks and the last one only two weeks.

they keep telling me, probably one more week

I had one go through in 2 days before Christmas
