Bc CFO wont give out my pal number

So i called the bc cfo today and waited on hold 10 minutes just to find out they refused to give out my pal number even though ive been approved. Anyone else run into this?

They cant give it to you over the phone. There is no way to know its you.

That's ironic... How are they supposed to tell its you during any other call, made by or to you...?

I've heard tell of people getting their PAL # as recently as last Xmas...

By giving them your pal number and date of birth. Its a common practice for businesses to not give out personal information over the phone. Just like if you phone them up and say hey its joe blow what address do you have on file for me they will tell you no until they verify its you by getting your pal and date of birth.

The BC CFO gave me the my PAL number over the phone. I explained that I wanted to start my LTATT application (since they are WAY behind on those). Just keep calling and asking. Eventually you'll get someone who will give it to you.

They used to do it but now they don't simple reason is they made it a policy not to give that info out.

The BS reason she gave me was "You need the card to buy firearms". To that i responded then why can i order online with just the number then? She just went circular logic on my ass and repeated the first statement.
