Just bought a new house and will move in May. I know I should contact CFO to get my address changed. But I didn't find any phone number I can call (there is only a fax number). Does anyone know the number?

Also I own several restricted, do I need to get an ATT prior to my moving or I can do it afterward? If I will have to apply for one upfront, usually how long it may takes?

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Given that you have restricteds, you must phone them and obtain a short term ATT for the move. Unless they are extremely busy, it should take less than an hour max. You can't change the address online with restricteds or prohibs due to the ATT and you must get the ATT to follow the law correctly.

Phone 1-800-731-4000 and they can direct your call to the BC office who can issue your STATT and change the address.

BC's CFO STATT extension is 9512; you will leave a message with your name, PAL #, reason and telefone #. They'll call you back (usually within 1-2 hrs) to get the rest of the details.

When i was moving i almost forgot about my STATT, i was leaving in a hour to move to alberta and i was lucky enough to get through, i talk to the ladie, she called me stupid for leaving it so short, but emailed me a STATT.
