Hi All,

There are two excellent F-Class matches coming up in both Mission and Kamloops. These will be 300 yards and 300M respectively!

Both matches include the terrific entry level/starter class we call "Factory/Sporter" that allow yout come out and try F-Class with what you currently own... no need to feel out of place because your rifle may not be specifically set up for target shooting!

Any factory bolt action rifle (no muzzle brake or compensators allowed) under 338 Lapua. Rifle and all its screwed/clamped attachments must be 12 pounds or less.

The match directors of both of these matches are particularly welcoming of new shooters! These are the very best types of matches to try for the first time. Short range, club level and all fun!

The Mission 300M ISSF "Sierra" match is 29-30 May and the entry form may be found here

The Kamloops KTSA Regional match is ********CANCELLED********

You will find names and email addresses on the forms and i encourage you to contat them to ask any questions... they also pop in hre regularly and will also answer questions you post.

Thanks a big bunch for posting this.

We are about half full for the Sierra Match on May 29/30.

One point of clarification; the Sierra Match does not include F-Class (Sporter).

Tough to get people into a sport when the Big Boys don't care.
I myself have spent a lot of coin to at some point become a F-class shooter but due to my location and work may not have the time to do so this year, its sad to hear things like this happen and makes me wonder if its all worth the time and effort.

I have just been made aware that the Kamloops shoot has been cancelled, so I will strike that one off the post.

The good news is there is a 3-900M match at Homestead that weekend... I'll be heading out there!
 
Richard, I got your email regarding the June match. While I'm disappointed, I can understand cancelling under the twin circumstances of
a) not enough interest (ie, not enough paid entrants), and
b) no target pullers/scorers available.

I'm surprised as hell at the low interest though- I always get my entry in asap on the theory that if I don't move quickly, there won't be any room left for me.
Thanks for your effort on this, and I look forward to seeing the match rescheduled.
 
I don't think target pullers was a reason; we have several available looking for work. KTSA and BCRA have basically always had paid pullers. Much les complicated and faster.
