BC Fishing and Hunting COVID-19 Updates

if the NDP try and use covid-19 as an excuse to interfere with fishing and hunting in BC they will pay dearly in the next election.
This is a hot topic up here in the interior with LEH fast approaching.
As an indigenous person, I have zero plans to allow Covid-19 nor politicians with anti hunting agendas and new "emergency powers" to interfere with my constitutional right to hunt and fish.

It is closed in Nova Scotia but 1st nation are not included

Unfortunately their base on the Lower mainland and the Island will cheer any shutdown of fishing and especially hunting.

I just renewed both my fishing and hunting licenses and my bear tag arrived in the mail this morning.
 
I’ll be the first one out there hunting for sustenance irregardless of their feel good law. I’ll take my chances on a judge and a jury of my peers convicting me for feeding myself and my family during these times. Something tells me they will have plenty of looters, scammers crooks and every other degenerate to deal with prior.

Ha! My guess is .... currently the Game Wardens don’t have a whole ton of people to chase around in the woods however… if that type of stuff starts to happen they will get plenty busy. And I am betting they will pay no attention to the 6 foot social distance law when they catch ya!
 
Well the "Orders and guidance" say "Fish and hunt locally."

"Local" could be pretty broadly defined.

If you live in Kamloops, fine, a short drive and you can be hunting.

If you live in Vancouver, well it takes a little longer to even get into a legal hunting zone.
