BC government is proposing more liberal hunting regulations for wolves. Without doubt they will be bombarded from the antis, to oppose the new regulations.
Thus, the hunting community will have to fight hard, by sending them our views, in order to give the game branch our approval of their proposed regulation changes, to enable hunters to have a better chance at wolves.
Remember, the antis, headed by the powerful and very well financed PETA organization, will do their best to eventually stop all hunting. A start for them would be to come out strong against wolf hunting in general and against increasing the hunters chances in particular.

The game branch is also proposing increasing the number of grizzly bears that can be hunted in parts of northern BC.
Here is the contact on that proposed regulation chane.

PETA and their pals will be on this one full force and our hunting future is probably more at stake with this than it is on the wolf situation.
BC hunters will have to put away any feud they may have with the outfitters, and visa versa, as we are all in this together.

It's nice to finally see some proposed changes to increase opportunities for wolves and grizzly's. I love the idea of no bag limit and no closed season for wolves.... although I've only filled the current bag limit of 3 wolves per year once in my life. These changes affect me directly as I'm from Fort Nelson. Now, If only we could get them to increase the grizzly tags in region 7-50. I will definitely be making comments on those links. Thanks for posting.
