BC LEH results

Just curious about how BC hunters fared in this year's LEH draw. I got SFA but I've been hearing that a lot of new hunter numbers were successful in multiple LEH draws.

My group got mule deer does in 8-24, but no moose or elk. Even better news though is my dad and my son are all in the group. 3 generations all hunting together for the first time, going to be fun!

For chrissakes, do you think the animals won't move back into the areas when the fires die down and the vegetation has a month or two to recuperate?

5 years now and nothing to show for it.

The lower the odds.. the better the chance you will get a draw
Look for the ones that are .9-1,lot more work,effort and money for those hunts
I also put in for the easy close to home ones with high odds. not much luck with those

I applied for a hunt in a zone that had 73:1 odds in 2016 reported in the LEH guide.

I applied and got the draw and this year's odds were 26.3:1.

I scored on Elk. It will be my "insurance" hunt, since I will be hunting bulls when they are bugling anyway. D.

I got nothing this year. But 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to score the 3-12 cow draw.
