So I miss counted how many LEH draw slips I need. Got one extra. Just wanted to make sure it would still be valid for next year or will it expire.

Enter what you put in for already, it won't hurt having one more entry in the area that you want the most.

Your only allowed to put in for one draw per species.

As regulate34 has mentioned you are only allowed one entry per species.
If you double up that species will be disqualified.
Put in for Sheep or Elk on Vancouver Island or the Pit River, you might score a Hail Mary ;)
Best Regards,
Rob

thought about doing that. I really try to put in for local draws that I can hunt without missing work. To draw a island elk tag would be amazing but I really don't think I could make a trip like that. I think I would be un-fair to the hunters that have been dreaming of a island elk for years.

Unfair you say?
So, there are two no three more possibilities for me then and every-time the Lotto Max reaches 50 million my odds increase ;)
But, all kidding aside your just worried about the six dollars and thirty six cents?
There are loads of guys who dont even buy a hunting Lic should they are not lucky enough to be drawn an LEH.
Then there are the guys who are successful and do not go cause they dont feel like it.
But, I digress it is Saturday morning afterall.
Tight Groups and Full LEH Draws Guys,
Rob

Well per species you get 2 chances right? Vancouver Island Elk are tough odds, even tougher for crown land and guns. Still, better odds than any lottery. I apply for 4 species a year, last year I won for moose and mountain goat but only went out for moose - no luck on moose. I'm applying for moose, doe mule, elk, and bison for staggered times in case I win em all!

no its not about the 6$ for the slip. don't see the point in putting in to a draw I wont hunt on.
kind of like buying lottery tickets with no intent on collecting if I win.

I did the same thing, just saved it and used it the next year. I don't think you can give it to a buddy as they put your hunter number on the piece at the bottom that's detached when you purchase it.

I don't think they do.
its says vendor # and date then stamped with the S/N that's on the top of the slip

I believe

I saw a guy buy 10 the other day for moose.

I told him 1 per species, he laughed at me and thought I was teasing him. I guess I shouldn't tease people so much?
