Hi and thanks for the invite to your great site. I am 28 years young and living in north east bc. I have been involved with hunting and rifles since a young age of about 9 and am now starting to get involved in handguns and pistols. Mostly because i would like a small game and practise gun of the rimfire ammo. I would also like to mount some scope sights onto something small lightweight and compact but reliable and accurate! Definetely sounds like quite a tall order to try and fill.

Welcome to CGN, stace. Unfortunatley, handguns are not allowed for any kind of hunting in Canada The best you can do is get set up for shooting at the range

Hate to echo the badnews, but ya most of us would kill for a small "game getter" pistol in the field.

As for your location, the BC Peace is arguably the BEST hunting region in Canada, bar none. I couldn't believe the amount of game I saw when I was in the Fort St. John area last month, unreal.
