BC Restricted transfer to daughter

I got through to the BC CFO today to ask about the transfer of 11 handguns to a daughter, to avoid destruction on my death. Sent registered mail mid August. The lady was very pleasant but would only say it was received and in the system awaiting approval. Couldn't see any issues. Call back in 6 weeks if you don't get an email. Terrible backlog.

I also asked about the Bersa Thunder 22 from Tactical Imports. I was hopeful she might complete it over the phone after I said it was a Christmas gift. No dice. Also waiting. So atleast I know they're both in the system, since I had no reference number from TI or an acknowledgment of the registered mail. We wait.

I really admire the poor souls working at the CFO for remaining pleasant though.

( I was so excited to get through and really thought I'd get the Bersa at least. Many people on the forum have mentioned doing it on the phone quickly. I've done maybe 50 restricted transfers in BC so they know it's been done before)
 
Hey thanks. Imagine if someone had told us in 2020 that one day we'd put in a transfer in August and not have it four months later!
 
Remember the day when we walked into the gun store bought a pistol and told them we lived 3 hours away. They completed the transfer in minutes.
lieberals were in power then too.
I await if my registered mailed in transfer goes through or not. I haven't called. From the misses to me.
