Bc scout vs scout scope mount

bc tac is good for red dots and scout mount is good for pistol scopes.
bc tac does not need to be touched once installed were the scout mount you have to remove it every time you want to clean your rifle.
bc tac is more of a solid design were as the scout mount it is only being held in by screws pinching on the side and holding the rail down.
I put it like this. If I want a red dot and hit anything under 200 meters I go for the bc tac 1. If I want to put optics on it I would go for a Magwedge/Wartak style mount.

Do you need to remove the scout mount to clean the SKS? I tried one on a Mosin, seemed OK. I do think that the BC model looks like a better design. If you want to really get serious, grab a Pro mag or Choate side mount. Have someone do the drill and tap if you don't have the skills or tools.
