Bcl 102 barrel nut issue

Need some ideas...I have a bcl 102 version 2 with a Midwest industries handguard on it.
I recently did a barrel swap to a maple ridge armories 6.5 creedmoor.
The issue I’m having is getting the barrel but back on so the handguard lines up. It seems stuck at the last couple of mm.
I don’t have access to a bench vise and my Tipton ultra isnt up for the task

Any ideas?

There’s a hack on YouTube that shows a guy place his upper between 2 blocks of wood and stand on it to tighten. It’s a bit questionable but worked for him. Just google home made Ar vise block.

Reaction rod is the preferred method. Don’t wreck your receiver.
